Regional differences by BrokenTeapot Regional differences by BrokenTeapot
This is just an idea that popped into my head when I should of been paying attention in class. I would of used Kratos as the American Protagonist, but Duke Nukem seemed to be more stereotypical.

With the exception of MGS, I enjoy western games more. Almost all Japanese games have skinny anime looking characters. Europe and America have Skyrim, Rayman, Killzone, Portal, Assasins Creed, TF2, and many many others that all have their own feel.

Well, Cloud was not that kind of a bitch until they made him like that in KH and AC. In FFVII he is an awsome soldier who kicks a semigod's ass with a sword thats too big for Duke. And killing Sephiroth is a way bigger accomplishment than kicking the eye out of a big retarded alien. :)
Oh, maybe you should check out Chris Redfield, he is Japanese-made and is huge xD

American games are so varied though. Like the ones made by Americans... Which is basically most all of them these days. I'm not talking about the company that devs it or what not, but the actual creative leads behind the games.
