I always thought the ability was useless...until I fought something with Pressure. That was awesome and SO useful it almost wasn't funny.
Still, love this comic. The pokemon facial expressions.

Yes, the ability Mummy IS useless, but that's the point. You see, if an opponent's Pokemon has a useful ability and it makes contact with that Pokemon, that useful ability is replaced by the ability Mummy.
